BCCI suspends five cricketers
The Board of Control for Cricket in India
today suspended five cricketers - Mohammad Azharuddin, Ajay
Jadeja, Nayan Mongia, Ajay Sharma and Manoj Prabhakar - for a
period of 15 days. The action comes two days after the Central
Bureau of Investigation (CBI) report on match-fixing was made
public.
Emotional scenes as Basu makes his exit

Minister in the country, today left Writers' Buildings - seat of
the West Bengal Government - for good. Chanting of slogans,
