Banu says she has no LTTE links
Ms. Banu, Bangalore, writes:
This refers to the news item in The Hindu dated November 24
captioned `Bhanu helped accused in Rajiv case to rent house'.
I was sorry to read the above cited item and wish to clarify the
matter.
I am not and never have been connected with the LTTE or any other
such organisation, much less being associated or implicated in
any way with the Rajiv Gandhi case or the Jain Commission.
Purely on the basis of phonetic similarity, my name has been
incorrectly associated and hasty conclusions have been drawn.
These have not only been a source of considerable mental agony
and pain but also adversely affected my reputation. I trust that
you will rectify the situation to the extent possible at the
earliest.
