Applications issued for supplementary convocation

CHENNAI, JAN. 9. Application forms for the ensuing supplementary convocation of the Madras University, are being issued at the University Enquiry counter, Chepauk, Chennai 5.

Those who have qualified for degrees prior to 1993 and who have not applied for the convocation so far, and yet to obtain the degree certificates, can use the opportunity and get their degree conferred at the ensuing convocation.

Applications can be obtained by paying Rs.25 at the enquiry counter or by post from the Registrar, through DD payable at Chennai, accompanied by a self addressed/stamped (Rs.3) envelope.

Candidates of autonomous colleges who have qualified during October/November 2000 can obtain their applications from the respective colleges.

The last date for submission of filled in applications is January 31, a release from the University Controller of Examinations, said.
