President undergoes medical check -up

NEW DELHI, FEB.10. The President, Mr. K. R. Narayanan, today
underwent a regular routine check-up at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in
the heart of the Capital.
While the presence of the Presidential motorcade outside the
hospital premises around 11 a.m. set the rumour mill working
overtime, the spokesman for the President said, Mr. Narayanan was
``hale and hearty''. It was just a regular routine medical check-
up.''
