Murgai admits to taking money

NEW DELHI, APRIL 11. Retired Maj. Gen. S.P. Murgai, a key figure in the Tehelka defence sting, has resurfaced and deposed before the high-level army court of inquiry, admitting having taken money from undercover reporters.

The Major General told the court of inquiry last Friday he had received payment for doing ground work for those he thought were genuine arms dealers.
