Five withdraw nominations

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, APRIL 25. With four dummy candidates and one independent withdrawing their nominations today, the number of candidates in the district has come down to 81.

The dummy candidates who withdrew their papers today include Jayaram (CPI-M) in the Attingal constituency, K.C.Vikraman (CPI- M) in Thiruvananthapuram North, Sugunan (CMP) in Thiruvananthapuram West and Vijayakumar Lakshmanan Nadar (Janata Dal-S) in Neyyatinkara and the Independent candidate, Mr. T.C.Balakrishnan in Nemom.

The last date for withdrawing nominations is April 26.
