Drop Baalu, Maran from Cabinet: Cong.
By Our Staff Reporter
CUDDALORE, JULY 7. The district wing of the Congress has urged
the Central Government to drop the Union Ministers, Mr. T.R.
Baalu and Mr. Murasoli Maran, from the Cabinet.
A resolution adopted at its executive meeting today, said these
ministers indulged in an ``unsighted attack'' on the Tamil Nadu
police personnel on Saturday last while the former Chief
Minister, Mr. M. Karunanidhi, was being arrested and interrogated
by the CB-CID police.
The resolution also ``strongly condemned'' the behaviour
``unbecoming'' of the Central Ministers towards the State police.
