New posting for Sharma

NEW DELHI, FEB. 21. Special Commissioner (Administration) of Delhi police, R. K. Sharma, will take over as the new Special Secretary in the Home Ministry, official sources said here today.

Mr. Sharma, a 1967 batch IPS officer, will take over his new assignment after he is relieved from the city police.

The post in the Home Ministry had been lying vacant since August last year when M. B. Kaushal, was promoted as secretary.
