Jassy enthrals the crowd

BANGALORE, FEB. 24. Nipendar Jassy, the ace two-wheeler rider from Delhi, treated the large crowd of motocross enthusiasts to a thrilling display of dirt track riding to win both his events in the MRF National Motocross championship at the Shalini ground here on Sunday.

The results: Round five: Class I solo motorcycles (upto 250 cc) Gp A foreign Open: (1st leg): 1. Nipendar Jassy (TVS 125cc), 2. D. Barguje (TVS), 3. G. Prasad (TVS), 4. Vikas Wayal (Honda).

(2nd leg): 1. Nipendar Jassy, 2. B.C. Roopesh, 3. D. Barguje.

Class II Experts: (1st leg): 1. B.C. Roopesh (Shaolin), 2. G. Prasad (Shaolin), 3. D. Barguje (Shaolin), 4. Rehan Khan (RX 135). (2nd leg): 1. B.C. Roopesh, 2. G. Prasad, 3. Rehan Khan.

Class III Novices, Indian M/cs 81-150cc: (1st leg): 1. Sunil Mohite (RX 100), 2. Syed Khadri (RX 135), 3. B.V. Suresh (RXG7); (2nd leg): 1. C. Vijay Kumar (Shogun), 2. Syed Khadri (RX), 3. B.V. Suresh.
