Major fire at Ahmedabad building

Ahmedabad April 29. A major fire broke out today on the sixth floor of a building here housing several offices, including that of the Income Tax Department and insurance companies.

Most of the employees had left for home when the fire broke out in the building at the busy Income Tax circle, fire brigade sources said adding there were no casualties.

The fire was reportedly due to a short-circuit.
