Russia denies selling war copters to Pak.

By Vladimir Radyuhin

MOSCOW JUNE 19. Russia has denied selling any military hardware to Pakistan. The Russian State-owned arms exporter, Rosoboronexport, said there has been no change in Moscow's long-standing ban on defence supplies to Pakistan.

``There is no military-technical cooperation between Russia and Pakistan,'' it was officially announced at a briefing of the company here. Rosoboronexport was commenting on a Pakistani report that Russia had supplied military helicopters to Islamabad.

At the same time industry sources said Russia could have sold a limited number of civilian helicopters to Pakistan.
