Tiruchi girl's distinction

TIRUCHI MAY 20. R. Phrabha Shalini of the Savitri Vidyasala Hindu Girls Higher Secondary School, Tiruchi, has secured 1,182, one mark more than what the State topper, Ramasubramanian of Palayamkottai, got in the March 2003 Plus-Two examinations.

However, she was not even adjudged district first for, she took Sanskrit as her first language. S. Archana of the BHEL Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Kailasapuram, Tiruchi, who scored 1,169 was the `official' district topper.
