Amnesty condemns blasts

New Delhi Aug. 27. Condemning the blasts in Mumbai, the Amnesty International (AI) today asked the Government to take all necessary steps to bring the culprits to justice.

Describing the blasts as an abuse of human rights, the global rights body, in a release, said ``we call on the authorities to take all necessary steps to ensure that those responsible for the attacks are brought to justice and will be tried in proceedings which meet internationally recognised standards for fair trial.''
