Letters to the Editor
Sir, Historians Irfan Habib and Suraj Bhan have contested the finding of the ASI that there existed a massive temple structure at the disputed site in Ayodhya ( Aug. 30 ). This is discouraging because the ASI dug up the site in the presence of representatives from both Hindu and Muslim organisations. It is for the Muslim community and its leaders to magnanimously accept the findings.
