CHENNAI: On the occasion of its 47th anniversary, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), has added `Jeevan Shree-1' to its range of products. The product was launched by R. R. Nair, Zonal Manager, South Zone in Chennai on Monday. The plan, available for the minimum sum assured of Rs. 5 lakhs, is a limited payment endowment plan with guaranteed addition of Rs. 50 per thousand sum assured per annum for first five years and reversionary bonuses thereafter. According to Mr. Nair, the scheme would address the needs of the high networth people such as company executives, industrialists, NRIs, film stars and short span careerists/ professionals.
