India, following rapid progress of the Golden Quadrilateral and other highway projects, has emerged as a big market for multi-axle trucks, Volvo India Managing Director, Ulf Nordqvist, told a press conference here. According to him, tippers will be positioned at the road construction and mining sectors, while trucks are suited for containers and petroleum tankers. These new range of trucks are from Volvo's global product portfolio and have been the group's biggest product overhaul in a decade.
