Pak. denies visas to Indian judges

New Delhi Sept. 2. A goodwill visit to Pakistan by eight Indian judges, including the chairman of the commission probing the Gujarat riots, was thrown into jeopardy today after the Pakistani High Commission denied them visas.

The delegation was to leave tomorrow on a nine-day mission.

The delegation, including Justice G.T. Navavati, Chairman of the Commission probing the Gujarat riots, was invited by the Bar Council of Pakistan and its Supreme Court Bar Association. — UNI
