VHS staff on warpath

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Sept. 2. The All-Kerala Vocational Higher Secondary Staff Association staged a dharna before the Secretariat today demanding the implementation of special rules, PF, etc. Their demands included the principal's post for VHSE section in schools, redesignation of laboratory assistants as junior instructors, sanctioning of pay scales to those working on consolidated pay, reservation for higher studies for those who pass the VHSE, PSC recognition for all courses, sanctioning of new courses only after taking into consideration the distance limit of schools and payment of pay revision arrears in cash.
