NEW DELHI: The Council for Advancement of People's Action and Rural Technology (CAPART) is in the process of signing MoUs with the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the National Institute of Design (NID) to update its rural technology. While the tie-up with the CSIR will help in upgrading technology, the NID faculty will assist CAPART in improving designs.
Chairing the general body meeting of CAPART here, the Union Rural Development Minister, Kashiram Rana, said efforts would also be made for better marketing by revamping the facilitation centres.
