By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD Sept. 4. Two scooter-borne persons snatched away Rs. 3 lakhs from two bank employees after allegedly attacking them with knives in broad daylight in Ramachandrapuram on the city outskirts on Thursday.

Prakash Valli, cashier, and Vittal, attender, of Manjeera Grameena Bank withdrew cash from the head office at Ashoknagar in Ramachandrapuram and were proceeding to the IDA Bolaram extension counter on a scooter.

While they were passing by an isolated locality at Ameenpur village, two `helmet-wearing' persons came on a two-wheeler from behind, threatened them, inflicted knife injury on Ms. Valli's hands and took away the cash bag.
