`Kala Bazar' at Public Gardens

HYDERABAD Sept. 4. The Department of Culture is organising `Kala Bazar' at Telugu Lalitha Kala Thoranam, Public Gardens, on Sundays and holidays, beginning on September 7.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, the Tourism Minister, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, said portrait paintings, handmade ornaments, pearls, black metal items, zardosi works, toys, terracota, silver filigree, jute products, woodcarvings etc., would be on display for sale.

The Minister said the Government was considering reviving sangeeta/nataka academies in near future.
