Cong. candidate for Sholapur seat

NEW DELHI SEPT. 6. The Congress today decided to field Anand Rao Deokate for the Sholapur Lok Sabha by-election to be held on September 26. The by-poll was necessitated due to the resignation of Sushil Kumar Shinde after he took over as Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

The party also announced two other candidates — Gowramma Kashappanavar and V.Venkata Muniyappa for the Hungund and Vemagal constituencies — for the Karnataka Assembly by-elections, according to a press release.
