By B. Muralidhar Reddy

ISLAMABAD Sept. 6. The Pakistan Foreign Minister, Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri, would travel to all South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) capitals including New Delhi in the next few days to deliver formal invitations for the SAARC summit scheduled here from January 4 to 6.

Mr. Kasuri has chosen to visit the six SAARC capitals in two phases and New Delhi would be covered in the second. In the first phase from September 10 to 13 he would visit Dhaka, Kathmandu and Colombo.

The second leg of the tour would start only after the conclusion of the United Nations General Assembly in the fourth week of September as Foreign Ministers and Heads of Governments/States are expected to be in New York after September 15.

The Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and the Pakistan President, Pervez Musharraf, are scheduled to be in New York.
