Cong. leader dead

BHUBANESWAR SEPT. 7. The senior Congress leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Orissa, Basant Kumar Biswal, passed away here this morning after prolonged illness.

Mr. Biswal was 70. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter. He was elected to the State Assembly thrice from the Tirtol Assembly segment. The cremation will take place at his native village, Tulanga in Jagatsinghpur district, tomorrow.
