New Delhi Sept. 7. The former Union Minister and Rashtriya Lok Dal leader, Ajit Singh, and three others onboard a six-seater private plane today had a narrow escape when the nosewheel of the aircraft gave way after landing at the Indira Gandhi airport here, a top airport official said.

Besides Mr. Singh, a cameraman of a private television company and two crew members, were all safe, the Airport Director, P.S. Nair, told PTI.

He said they were coming from Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan and the aircraft had landed at runway number 10 at 5.16 p.m. when the incident took place.
