dated September 10, 1953: Indigenous Medicine

Dr. Joges Chandra Ghose, Adhyaksha of the Sadhana Aushadhalya, Dacca, said in a message to the All-Pakistan Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbi Conference in Karachi on the 1st, "Our Government, conscious of the efficacy and affordability of our own medicines, should introduce Ayurvedic and Unani systems in the M.B. course, institute M.D. degree to be given for research in Ayurveda and Unani medicine, establish institutions to standardise native medicines, and set up composite hospitals where Doctors, Hakims and Vaids can give patients the very best medical help."
