dated September 10, 1953: Madras Board of Revenue

Changes occurred in the high-powered Board of Revenue in Madras with Mr. V.S. Hejmadi ICS leaving it to take up a Government of India assignments as Adviser, Programme Administration in the Planning Commission. Mr. M.V. Subramaniam ICS became Second Member and was to be in charge of Settlement of Estates dealt with by Mr. Hejmadi, Mr. W.R.S. Sathianathan ICS was to be Third Member in the Board in addition to his work as Commissioner of Land Revenue.
