Diverting resources

Sir, — The Karnataka Government is to take up construction of a Central Hall for the State Legislature. For large meetings, there is a banquet hall in the Vidhana Soudha. With the State reeling under a severe drought for the third year in succession, the Government should instead concentrate on providing drought relief.
