The road roko agitation had been dropped in the larger interest of the people`s security. Mr. Narayanasamy said that the AICC secretary in charge of the party affairs in Pondicherry, Satyajit Gaekwad would be on a visit to Pondicherry on September 11 to hold discussions with the Chief Minister, Ministers, legislators, functionaries of the party and the office bearers of the committee. The PCC leader said that Mr. Gaekwad would also have discussion on the party nominee for the Rajya Sabha poll. (Election is due to be held on September 29 and Pondicherry has a lone seat in Rajya Sabha.
