They raised slogans denouncing the Israeli Government's policy against the Palestinians and also the NDA Government's decision to accord a ``red carpet welcome'' to Mr. Sharon. The CPI State secretary, R. Nallakannu; the national secretary, D. Raja; the AIYF national secretary, M. Veerapandian, and the State secretary, D. Lenin, were among those participated. The Jamaat-E-Islami Hind of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry and the Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam have also condemned Mr. Sharon's visit.
