Special Secretary (Avas-Vikas) Diwakar Tripathi told reporters that the district development authorities had been directed to report to the State Government on implementation of the order by September 12. Meanwhile, newly appointed Chairman of Noida T. George Joseph told reporters that 16 clerical appointments in the authority on Aug 26 and industrial plots allotted in Sector 63 on August 22 would be checked again as they had been made without adopting proper norms. Plots had also been irregularly allotted in Ghaziabad, Meerut, and Saharanpur to relatives of the former Chief Minister, he added. -- PTI
