Clashes in Vadodara

Ahmedabad Sept. 9. Communal clashes broke out tonight in Vadodara city when a Ganesh immersion procession came under attack and two groups clashed, leaving at least three persons injured.

Police said at least three policemen were injured in Panigate area when one group hurled acid bulbs at the procession and the police even as groups of two communities clashed when a procession was passing through the area. — PTI
