Action-reaction

Sir, — It is sad that those who condemn the Modi theory of `action and reaction' fall into the same trap while describing the terrorist acts in Mumbai as the outcome of Modi-type politics. This is over simplification of a deep-rooted malaise. Slaughter of innocents in the name of jehad will not help achieve the goals of the jehadis. Repression affects many societies across the world. Terrorism is not the answer.
