Letters to the Editor
Sir, Only if the U.N. is given the supreme decision-making power can India think of sending any troops to Iraq. It must be remembered that George Bush and Tony Blair lied their way into invading Iraq. They ignored and insulted the U.N. and made a mess of Iraq and now shamelessly go to the world body and ask for help. India should not be short-sighted and give in to the temptation of getting building contracts, Iraqi oil, etc., in exchange for Indian troops. Paul Selvaraj, Gothenburg, Sweden
