The third-seeded Indo-British pair will meet the top-seeded Esteban Carril and Santiago Ventura of Spain in the semifinals. Sania bows out in doubles: Sania Mirza partnering Varvara Lepchenko of Uzbekistan lost 3-6, 3-6 to the fourth-seeded Maria Fernanda Alves of Brazil and Julie Ditty of the U.S. in the first round of the $25,000 Challenger tournament in Peachtree City, U.S.
