Senthilkumar, Latha bag titles

TIRUCHI SEPT. 12. J. Senthilkumar and K. Latha (both of class XII) collected 15 and 20 points respectively to win the individual championship in the boys and girls' sections in the super-senior category at the annual sports meet of the Railway Mixed Higher Secondary School, Goldenrock at the school ground on Thursday.

S. Thanang Jayaraj (X) tallied 16 points and R. Vennila (X) aggregated 20 points to claim the individual championship in the boys' and girls' sections in the seniors' category.

The individual championships in the juniors' category went to H. Shanawaz (IX) in the boys' section and to K. Rajalakshmi (VIII) in the girls' section. Both collected 16 points apiece.

R. Udayakumar and K. Sakthi (both of VIII) won the individual championship in the sub-junior boys and girls' sections with a tally of 18 and 15 points respectively. The Green House with 81 points won the overall championship and the shield awarded by V. Carmelus, Divisional Railway Manager, Guntakkal. The Chief Workshop Manager, Goldenrock Workshops, G.R.K. Raju gave away the prizes and the Principal, V. Shanmugham presided over the function.
