Five banks to share ATM network

MUMBAI: Five public sector banks, including Canara Bank and Central Bank of India, have come together to launch a co-branded ATM network, CashOnline. The other three banks are Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank and Union Bank of India. The chairman and managing director of Cetral Bank of India, Dalbir Singh said these ATMs would be installed with a suitable mix of on-site and off-site locations. The ATM or debit cardholders of member banks as well as Mastercard and Visa International would also have the advantage of accessing any ATM owned by the consortium to transact business, said R. V. Sastry, chairman and managing director, Canara Bank. — PTI
