Kerala-Thiruvananthapuram
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM. SEPT.31. The CPI State secretary, Veliyam Bhargavan, has described the Government's decision fixing the same fees for merit quota for students in both Government and self-financing medical colleges as ``a victory of the agitation launched by the students and youth organisations''. In a statement issued here today, he said the decision had to be extended to the self-financing engineering colleges also. The Government should bring in legislation to ensure effective implementation of this decision on fee structure. The Association of Kerala Government College Teachers and the CPI- affiliated All India Students' Federation also issued similar statements today.
