10 militants killed

IMPHAL SEPT. 13. At least ten militants, including nine belonging to the Kuki National Front (KNF-MC), were killed in separate encounters in Manipur today.

The Commander of 59 Mountain Brigade of the Assam Rifles, V.K. Batura, said here that one of the ultras belonged to the People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK).

Acting on a tip-off, troops of the Assam Rifles launched search operations in the area leading to an encounter. — UNI
