Letters to the Editor
Sir, I send my congratulations on your 125th anniversary. Though I cannot claim, like local readers, to have read The Hindu for decades this is possible here only on the Internet I chime in with expressing my appreciation for the balanced news coverage, intelligent analysis and commentary, even if such opinion sometimes goes against myself. But that is the nature of balance.
M. Witzel,
Sir, I am 75 years old. I have been an ardent reader since I was 15. I send my best wishes to you on completing 125 years.
K. Jayalakshmi,
Sir, The Hindu has always supported democratic movements worldwide. We hope that you will give wider coverage to the democratic movement in Nepal.
C. Guruprasad,
Sir, The selective reproduction of interesting articles on contemporary world affairs from The London Times, The Guardian, The Christian Science Monitor and The New York Times in The Hindu is a value-added service to readers who cannot afford access to them.
