HYDERABAD: Sept.14. The Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, has favoured setting up of a society at the State level to coordinate the activities of Rytu Bazars to ensure that farmers get a reasonable price for their produce. Mr Naidu, who is away in Italy, also directed the officials to prepare a plan of action for setting up a series of cold storage units and package practices for movement of produce to prevent farmers from selling their produce at depressed prices. He directed the principal secretary of the Cooperation & Marketing Department to hold a video conference with the joint collectors to identify areas which need strengthening, according to a press release.
