Kanshi Ram hospitalised

HYDERABAD Sept. 15. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president, Kanshi Ram, suffered a moderate brain stroke while travelling in a train to Hyderabad on Monday morning. He was rushed from the Nampally railway station to the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS). Hospital authorities said his condition was stable.

Later, upon improvement of his condition in the evening, the BSP leader was shifted to New Delhi by a chartered flight for further examination in the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences
