Rain likely in Tamil Nadu CHENNAI SEPT. 15. Rainfall occurred at many places over coastal Karnataka and at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh. Isolated rainfall occurred over Telangana, Kerala and south interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep and dry weather prevailed over North interior Karnataka.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in cms: Salur (Vizianagaram dt.) 4, Kundapur (Udupi dt.) 3, Visakhapatnam Airport and Belthangadi (Dakshina Kannada dt.) 2 each and Dowlaishwaram (East Godavari dt.), Bapatla, Thiruvananthapuram, Honavar, Dharmasthala (Dakshina Kannada dt.), Panambur, Mangalore Airport and Agumbe 1 each.

FORECAST (Valid until Wednesday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka.

Farmers weather bulletin For Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry Forecast (valid until Wednesday): Isolated light to moderate rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
