According to information reaching here, a couple of days ago, a tiger killed a cow near Sigur bordering the sanctuary and feasted on the carcass. The following day when it started consuming the remains, it died since the carcass was poisoned. Meanwhile, some residents of Bhoodhanathan village had reportedly seen three persons removing the claws from the dead tiger. They informed the local forest staff who nabbed Siva, Bhojan and Siddhan today and recovered the claws from them. After a post mortem, the carcass was buried. A hunt has been launched for the person who had poisoned the carcass.
