Crisil award for MCH

HYDERABAD Sept. 15. The Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH) has bagged yet another award. This time, Crisil, the credit rating agency has adjudged the civic body of having the `Best Internal Efficiency' among all the municipal corporations in the country.

The award is said to have come for the successful financial management in utilising funds and for also being self-sufficient. "We are happy that our work has been recognised,'' said a senior official of the MCH.

The MCH Additional Commissioner for Works, P. Usha Rani, is to receive the Crisil award in Mumbai on September 18 in the absence of the MCH Commissioner, Chitra Ramachandran, away in United States. The Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, is also to attend the ceremony during his return journey from his foreign tour.
