Livestock census begins

Pondicherry Sept. 16. The 17th quinquennial livestock census was launched here on Monday. The Director of Animal Husbandry and Animal Welfare, M. C. Rajamanickkam, said the month-long census was aimed at compiling statistics relating to animal husbandry, agriculture and fisheries.
