CBI raid

New Delhi Sept. 16. The Central Bureau of Investigation today conducted searches at the office and houses of the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited general manager, R.P.S Pawar, here and in Uttar Pradesh, CBI sources said.

CBI sleuths seized assets and property worth Rs. one crore during the raid, which took place simultaneously at Mr. Pawar's houses in Delhi and Ghaziabad and office and residence in Muzzafarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, they said. Mr. Pawar is currently posted in Muzzafarnagar.
