Episcopal jubilee of Mar Themothios begins

PATHANAMTHITTA Sept. 16. The episcopal Golden Jubilee celebrations of Geevarghese Mar Themothios, former bishop of the Malankara Catholic Church, Thiruvalla diocese, was held at the Ambattubhagom St. Mary's Catholic Church, near Vennikkulam today.

Joseph M. Puthusserry, MLA, inaugurated the celebrations by lighting a traditional lamp.

The vicar general, Fr. Alexander Payyampallil, Fr. Varghese Karikottu, the parish priest, Fr. Santhosh Azhakath, Fr. Ignatius Thangalathil and Jacob Abraham were among those who addressed the function.
