Telecom awards

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Sept. 16. The annual telecom awards for the Thiruvananthapuram SSA were presented at a function here today. The Sanchar Seva Padak went to Abraham George, N.Paramasivan and B.Sriramachandra Murty. M.A.Mohanakumar, G.S.Manikanta Das, B.S.Narayanan Nair and S.Parvathy Ammal received the Bharat Sanchar Sarathi. The Puthukulangara exchange was awarded the honour for the best telephone exchange. As many as 57 telecom mechanics were also honoured. The Chief General Manager, Kerala circle, S.L.Vinston and the Principal General Manager, Thiruvananthapuram, K. Sreekantan Nair, gave away the awards.
