Woman, daughter killed in accident

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Sept. 16. A woman and her six-year-old daughter were killed when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling collided with a mini lorry, near Pulinkudi under Vizhinjam police station limits, today.

The deceased are Sindhukumari (32) and Ashwini, residents of Shaji Bhavan, Mylakkara, Kattakkada.

According to the police, the mishap occurred near a curve at 7-30 a.m. Sindhukumari's husband, Shaji Kumar, who was driving the three-wheeler, has been admitted to the Medical College Hospital with serious injuries. Akshara (3), the youngest daughter, who was also travelling in the autorickshaw, has been admitted to the SAT hospital.
